Gettysburg, Shiloh, Fredericksburg-Chancellorsville, South Canyon, Mann Gulch, Little Big Horn, Chickamauga-Chattanooga, Overland Campaign of 1864, Yarnell Hill, Thirtymile, Harpers Ferry-Sharpsburg, Jackon's Valley Campaign of 1862. Dynamic Decision-making ... A one-day staff ride of the 1876 Battle of the Little Bighorn.
Leadership and Management ... A two-day staff ride of the 1864-1865 Overland and Petersburg Campaigns in Virginia, comparing the leadership of R. E. Lee and U.S. Grant.
Leading change through transitions ... a one-night-and-one-day staff ride the Thirtymile Fire in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, WA.
Moral Imperatives for Senior Leaders ... a one-day staff ride to the National Prisoner of War Museum and Historic Site at Andersonville, GA
Leadership and Operational Risk Management ... a one-day, two-part staff ride of the battles of Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville, VA.
Leadership in the Valley ... 100 miles in 100 hours! A five-day walking staff ride along the Appalachian Trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Stonewall Jackson's "Foot Cavalry" in 1862, with discussion of other actions in this historic area by Washington, Fremont, Banks, Sigel, Breckinridge, Early, Hunter, and Sheridan. Extensive experiential learning in fieldcraft and outdoor leadership.
Fluidity and Friction ... A two day staff ride of the Rapidan and Rappahannock Rivers of Virginia by canoe. See the historic fords and bridging sites used by American Civil War armies during the battles of Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, and the Overland Campaign. Discuss leadership techniques to create highly-adaptive organizational cultures that avoid surfaces and exploit gaps. A great follow-on to our weekly Fredericksburg-Chancellorsville staff rides. Experiential learning in fieldcraft afloat.
Against Desperate Peril ... a series of two-day staff rides in each of four historic cities related to actions in the American War of Independence: Boston > New York > Philadelphia > Yorktown.
